1. How do I inquire about a booking?
Please fill out an inquiry form. Be sure to include the date and details of your event or wedding. Alternatively, you can also send me an email with details about your requested booking at Hello@JanelleBoucher.com. You can expect a response within 48 hours. I look forward to chatting with you!
2. How do I book you?
To secure your date, a signed contract and non-refundable deposit are required. Once these are completed, your booking will be locked in my calendar. Please fill out an inquiry form to inquire now!
3. How far in advance should i book?
I would recommend booking as soon as you have your date confirmed. Saturday dates book especially quickly, with most weddings booking about a year in advance. While last-minute availability can happen, securing your booking early gives you the best chance of availability!
4. Can you travel to my location?
Absolutely! I love to travel and can accommodate any location of your choice. Simply send me an inquiry, and I’ll provide you with a custom quote.
5. Do I need to book a trial?
While trials are not mandatory, I highly recommend one! A trial gives us the opportunity to determine your preferences without any stress. Special events, especially weddings, can get hectic, and a trial ensures you have one less thing to worry about. Plus, it’s a great chance to have your makeup done for engagement pictures, bridal showers, or date nights!
6. when should i book my makeup trial?
Makeup trials are typically scheduled 2–4 months before your wedding date. This timing allows your overall look to come together while still leaving room for adjustments if needed. That said, this timeline is flexible, and many clients choose to schedule their trial on the same day as another event to make the most of it.
7. what do i need to do before my makeup trial?
Treat your makeup trial like a preview of your wedding day. If you plan on getting your brows done, a spray tan, or any other beauty services for the wedding, it’s best to do those beforehand so you get the most accurate vision of how everything will come together.
Bring inspiration photos of looks you love, but also come open to recommendations—we can adjust and tailor the look to suit your features, style, and overall vision. Arrive with clean bare skin.
8. What’s in your professional makeup kit?
My professional kit includes a variety of high-quality products suitable for all skin types. I use trusted brands such as Nars, MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, RCMA, and many more. All products are carefully selected for their longevity and performance. If you have any questions or concerns about the products and their ingredients, feel free to reach out!
9. Are false lashes included?
Yes, false lashes are included (but optional).
